Artist’s statement:

‘Is it true that an abstract painting has no reference to any figurative reality? I don’t think like that. I believe that there is nothing abstract in a painting because every abstraction is based on figures. Abstract forms, which was generally adopted by artists comes from nature and nature has several fixed forms, which used in abstract paintings. In my works, I used parts of human body as a symbol of land or nature. I am not a narrator, so I try to paint in a different way, because I am re-creator, original creator god or nature, whatever you say. I believe that god or nature is greatest creator and as a human being, we can only try to re-create whatever we see in our life. As a painter, I try to simplify or reduced the real forms. I enjoy playing with lines, and during this I get some unaccepted result, and I realize that its not my creation, its god’s creation.’
